Being creative is going to make you look at crafting in a perfectly non crafty way. Embroidery is not just for cushions, & knitting is not just for scarfs.
You must practice and play. That’s what I did, & its turned me from someone who doesn’t even own a sewing kit, into a keen amateur embroiderer & an obsessive finder of vintage fabrics, threads & all things crafty.
I met Inma by chance a few days before The Old School Club opened and was keen to help out any way I could. This opportunity came when I was searching for some way to channel my creative flow into something worthwhile, stimulating, fun & exciting. Its certainly been all of those things.
The joy of the Old School Club is its flexibility. There are regular daytime & evening classes, such as embroidery, applique, XL crochet or learn to sew. Wednesday night is Craft Night. There are parties and Pop-up events. There will also be a CoCrafting workspace. A welcoming and collaborative environment where members can co-work, share ideas and expertise and find the resources they need to be creative or grow their businesses
And always, always there will be cake.
So come and see what its all about. Be inspired.
Dig out that embroidery project you haven’t touched since school.
Dust off your sewing machine.
Take your little one somewhere different.
Come & join us at The Old School Club.
