Learn to Plan, Market & Manage your business so you can focus on creating beautiful pieces of bespoke furniture

- Turn your passion for restoring, upcycling & transforming furniture into a source of income.

Create your own line of products for that spotted gap in the market, maybe for children’s nurseries or based on a specific style.

Increase your services as an Interior designer and propose a new way of keeping and transforming your client’s existing furniture to match their new style.

Expand the range of products in your shop with your own upcycled products and increase your sales.

Customise the decoration for each event you run and stand out from the crowd without having to pay someone to do it.

You may have spent hours making something beautiful, yet you don't know where you are going to be selling, or if you need a website or what to focus on.

You have lots of ideas for your new products, but you don't know if people are going to like them, or what materials you need or how much they are going to cost, let alone how you are going to price them.

You have your products ready to go, you have been at market fairs and sold a few pieces, you need to move your business to the next level but you don't know how to create a good online presence or how to use Social Media.

The courses are all online, so you only need an internet connection. Most of the materials can be downloaded for you to use at your own time.

There is one lesson per week, so you have time to go through the materials and ask all the questions.

You will have access to our community (Private Facebook group) for the duration of the course, 12 weeks, where all our members and students hang out!.

In this group you will be able to:

  • Get Support and Accountability whilst you go through the course materials.
  • Bounce your ideas with me and other creatives & upcyclers
  • Scheduled hours for you to ask me any question.
  • Weekly challenges on what is currently stopping you, such as:
    • I have no products,

    • I have no social media knowledge.
  • And actions to overcome these such as:
    • contact 5 potential clients this week,

    • flog something on ebay.

Hi, I'm Inma Goodhew.

I have been teaching how to upcycle furniture at The Old School Club for a few years now. During the classes it became clear that most of the students who came to learn how to upcycle furniture wanted to ultimately set up a business. Using my experience running my own business (what has gone right and what has gone wrong!) and upcycling furniture I have put together this course to help you plan, market and manage your upcycling business.

How will this course help me?

You can start all this by yourself, researching other blogs, trying to copy someone else’s style, subscribe to business sites, learning all the technical and admin stuff or you can buy the course that suits you best and take your upcycling business to the next level.

This course has already been provided, tested and it keeps improving thanks to all your feedback.

The course is not for you if you expect that we are going to do it for you, it is your business and your plan of action.  The course is very practical and easy to follow, with exercises for you to complete, but you have to put time and effort!

If I don’t like the course, can I get my money back?

Unfortunately we can't offer refunds at this point in time, however if you don't think the course works for you, you will be able to schedule a one to one session so I can try to help with any specific issues you may have.

When will the course will be available?

You will have access to the course as soon as you make the purchase. The lessons are provided week after week, this is so I can make sure you make progress when going through the materials. You can still take the course at your own time. Follow the steps on the first email you receive after you purchase the course.

How much time will I need to spend on the course?

It is really up to you, but I recommend between 2 to 4 hours per lesson, some of them may take you less or longer depending on what stage you are at, you will need to do some research and come back to the exercises.

What is the format of the course?

The course contains easy to follow tutorials with exercises (no business or complicated jargon), practical tips on each section and checklists to make sure you are ready to move to the next section.

The creative skills videos are filmed at our workshop in Battersea, London. We will cover similar techniques to those I teach every day at The Old School Club.

The bonuses will be a combination of tutorials & videos.

The community group is a private Facebook Group available during the duration of the course, after this time, you will be able to continue if you join TCR Collective.

What will you provide through the community group?

The main purpose of the community is to help you through the course but also for you to feel motivated, engaged and to bounce your ideas with me and other creatives.  There will be a set of scheduled hours where I will provide feedback and I will be setting up weekly challenges.

You have 12 weeks access to the community group to complete the course. After this time, you will be invited to join the TCR Collective, our online community & members area (aprox £25/$30 per month).

In TCR Collective, you will have access to any content updates added to the course and will be part of a community of upcyclers, home makers & other creative businesses.
